Learning Objectives At the end of this lesson, pupils will be able to:
o State what speed is.
o Solve problem using the formula.
Learning Activities
1. Conclude that speed is a measurement of how fast an object moves.
2. Speed can be calculate by using the formula:
Speed = distance / time
3. Solve problems using the formula.

Learning Objectives;1.4 that magnets have different strengths.

Learning Activities;
1. Pupils design a fair test to compare the strengths of different magnets. Pupils have to decide how to measure the strength of a magnet e.g. how many paper clips the magnet can attract and hold or how close to a paper clip a magnet has to be to attract it.
§ design a fair test to compare the strengths of different magnets by deciding w hat to keep the same, w hat to change and what to measure.
2. Pupils carry out their tests and record the findings in a table.
